I'm trying to figure out who the best high-volume dealers are for a new excavator from one of the major brands. I'm looking for dealers with huge inventory and low prices with minimal haggling.

I have been waiting for the new 2017 Deere 644 wheel loaders to come out but now considering Caterpillar and Komatsu too. I had planned to go to a big Deere dealer in St. Louis because folks on the operator forums say they have good deals. Their inventory is massive. Now I'm looking for the equivalent dealers for the other brands.

Classic Tractor Center. Pylesville, Louisiana. These are the go-to guys for skid steers and OEM parts. Should be good for excavators, and not too far from you.

Thanks. Lots of recommendations for Classic Tractor Center around. They're down in southern Louisiana, quite a ways from a major airport. How are remote buyers managing the purchase? Do they have a shuttle from the airport?

Also, I'm actually in Kansas. Flying isn't a problem for the right deal. Ideally, I want to get a no-B.S. price on a factory-order machine with a dealer-installed hydraulic thumb (to retain the warranty).

Classic Tractor Center hands-down.

They have a shuttle to pick you up at the airport. No hassles. Best deal.
